All parents and carers are welcome to join our workshops at Undershaw. These are informal events with a presentation and lots of time for discussion, reflection and sharing of experience. We welcome any input to future workshops which are aimed at supporting our families to understand and navigate the support that their young person may need.
Friday 7th February 1-2.30pm at Undershaw: PACE
This workshop is a follow-on from the Attachment and Behaviour workshop in October. We will spend time reflecting and focusing on the PACE model, learning about what it is and how this model can help us to support our children.
Friday 14th February 1.30--3.00pm at Undershaw: PACE
We have two representatives from the Department of Work and Pensions coming to give a talk and answer any questions you may have. This is a wonderful opportunity if you are starting to think about employment options for your child.
The aim of these forums is to form a partnership with parents and to improve communication between parents and the school, which in turn will help us to improve the education and experience of school for our young people. They will be informal meetings over tea and coffee with one of our Interim Co-Headteachers, providing opportunity for parents to share ideas, views and concerns, and to feedback on relevant topics within school.
All will run from 1.45pm to 2.30pm at Undershaw:
Wednesday 5th February (2.00pm to 3.00pm)
Friday 27th March
Friday 15th May
Friday 10th July

A former Stepping Stones parent and counsellor will join us to facilitate the group and bring along helpful resources. This group will run half-termly on a Friday morning at Undershaw. Dates will be added below once confirmed. Please come along if you are available, or feel free to pop in for a short while if you are unable to stay for the duration of the group!
