Visit to Birdworld
The younger children in the school enjoyed a trip to Birdworld in November. Although we were prepared for the rain, it held off until the afternoon, when we were safely ensconced with the piranhas and the crocodile in underwater world. We were amazed to see that so many of the brightly coloured birds actually originated from the Amazon rainforest, one of our learning topics for this term. In our session in the Heron theatre we laughed at Noddy, the performing Macaw before some of us stroked different animals – finishing with actually stroking a Boa Constrictor! WOW! Everyone really enjoyed the outing – staff and students.
We are looking forward to our next one.
