Macbeth Success

"Stepping Stones could give masterclasses in voice projection and delivery"

This is just some of the feedback from the organisers of the Shakespeare for Schools Festival in Guiildford following our performance of Macbeth.  Tuesday evening saw the drama club take to the stage with 3 other schools to showcase Shakespeare plays transported to modern scenarios.

The student's performance saw acting talent, backstage support, sound and music displayed at its very best.  Bo and Georgia led the performance as lord and Lady Macbeth.  The play, set in Victorian times, held the audience, projected both the characters and emotion resulting in them being commended for their portrayal.

The cast was Bo, Georgia, Elena, Lucas, Lucy, Rachel, Katie and Lewis supported by Jorrit and Leonie two of our international volunteers.  Whilst backstage Sorcha and Federica created the atmosphere, lighting, sound and props supported by Mollie, Stefan, Ali, Sheilah, Dave and Sally.

Thanks go to Tim and Lisa who directed and led the group.
