Every year at Stepping Stones the parents come in and cook lunch for the entire student body as a Christmas treat. Despite the growth in the school, now over 60 students, the parents were undeterred and once again made a typical Christmas lunch.
This year we were also supported by Steelite, the international company that provides crockery and cutlery to organisations across the world. They provided the school with a very charitable discount on the table settings we needed to provide a full school lunch for our growing cohort. A huge thanks goes to Laura, who visited us last Thursday, and put in place the amazing offer and more importantly got it all here on time!
So thanks goes to all the parents who helped preparing vegetables over the weekend, cooked, served, washed up and supported the students. Also to Lin who supported the organisation and led the cooking team and to Andy who set-up and will no doubt still be cleaning into the late afternoon. A final and special thanks goes to the Committee of the Parents Association and of course Santa - thank you!
